This website is dedicated to a partial exposition of the Israeli-Lebanese conflict. What we have to offer is an overview of the two sides involved and the issues that have led to the conflict. In particular we will focus on the issue of repatriation and prisoner exchange as a method of peacekeeping and redress, but also as a means of exercising agency in the conflict.
The pages that follow include a background into Israel and its burial practices. There will also be a historical background to the conflict from Lebanon's independance until the present day. We will explore the foreground of prompting prisoner exchange as a means of tactics and leverage and provide a small glimpse of the Hizballah's involvement in the conflict.
